How do I make a reservation?

Reservations can be made either through email at Ladybirdlimousine@gmail.com, or by phone at 832-896-1748. See below for best pick up time in Galveston at the port.

When are reservations confirmed?

Reservations are confirmed after all the reservation information has been gathered and a credit card (Visa, MC, AE and Discovery) has been submitted. We require a credit card (number, expire date and 3 or 4 digit security code) to hold your reservation. Reservations are confirmed via email.

When should I make my reservation?

Reservations should be made as soon as you have all the items listed below:

Name, number in your party, cell phone number, pick up date and time, incoming flight information or pick up address, and destination. If you need a second reservation, then provide the second date and time and pick up and drop off locations. Reservations can be made up to 6 months + in advance.

How much does the trip cost?

Please see the two rate pages: one for Houston and the other for Galveston, Freeport, etc. or ask for quote over the phone. You may also receive a quote once you send in your itinerary. Credit cards are charged the day before each trip. Please do not leave cash for the trip with the drivers. Drivers are not responsible for company accounting. Tips may be left in cash.

How much should I tip?

Tips are not included in the price of the trips (except inside the 610 loop). Please consider tipping the drivers 10 – 15% if they are on time and provide good service. Tips may be given at the end of the trip in cash or can be added to your trip in advance when making your reservation.

Are there any extra fees?

Extra fees apply when extra services are requested like child car seats $5 each, extra stops along the trip $10 each, and additional wait times. Reservation prices were quoted as if you are ready at the time of your reservation. We are not responsible for ship lateness and custom issues, fees will be applied on all waits. Fees at the port are $30 per hour after the first hour. Our drivers track each flights ETA’s (for delays or early arrivals). Wait time starts when airplane arrives at the airport. We offer 30 minutes free for domestic flights and 45 minutes free for international flights. Incoming flight delays do not count against pick up times. Fees at airports incur at $30 per hour, after the free waiting time expires. Late night and early morning trips are charged an additional $10-$20 (after 10 pm and before 7 am).

What if my flight is delayed?

Please call if you flight is going to be more than 1 hour late. You must call if your flight is canceled, and/or your flight number has changed or if you miss your flight. Our drivers are checking all flights ETA’s (for delays or earlier arrivals).

How do I find my driver at the airport?

Your driver will be waiting inside on the Baggage Claim Level and will be holding a sign with your name on it. The “meet and greet” is a standard service for our customers in an unfamiliar airport. If you are unable to locate your chauffeur, please call the dispatch at (832) 896-1748 so they can help you locate each other.

If you need to cancel a reservation, what are the requirements?

You must notify us of a cancellation via phone to 832-896-1748. There is no cancellation fee if the cancellation is made within 1 days before your trip. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the reservation will be charged 25% of the trip cost. Trips cancelled the day of the trip will be charged at 100%. No shows will be charged in full -100%.

Does your company provide baby or booster seats?

Yes we do provide car seats upon request. There is a minimal $5 charge, so please ask in advance.

How can I get a receipt?

A receipt can be emailed based upon request.

What is the best reservation time and pickup procedure at the Port of Galveston?

The most requested pick up time at the Port of Galveston is 10 am. The ships normally dock at 8:30 am or earlier. Disembarking can be quicker if you take your own luggage off the ship. Some ships are slower to disembark than others and may have customs issues. We realize some of you may have early flights, and there should be no problems if you are off the ship in time to make it to the airports. George Bush IAH is 75 miles and takes from 60 to 90 minutes depending on traffic along the route. Hobby airport is about 45 minute drive without traffic delays along I45.

We provide 1 hour wait time free of charge at the port (from appt. time), after that we charge $30 per hour wait time. Our offices are in Houston and the Galveston Port is one (1) hour plus drive for us to arrive in Galveston. Please keep that in mind when scheduling your pick up time. It is difficult for us to move up your time or change your time the day of your trip. We have numerous clients each Saturday and Sunday. We will try to accommodate your request for earlier times, but this is not guaranteed due to distance from our offices.

Please turn on your cell phone as soon as you can upon docking in Galveston. The driver will have your phone number and may call for your disembarking status. Once you are off the ship, please call the driver and provide your location at the terminal so that the driver will be able to find you. Definitely contact the main office at 832-896-1748 (Susan) and your driver if you will be late with your disembarkment. It will be difficult to contact you if you do not have your cell phone on. In this case, the driver will have to drive through with a sign with your name on it. Be on the lookout for your driver. Please help your driver find you upon disembarkment. If you should get off the ship early, you may want to go over to Starbucks and wait there for your driver. Just let your driver know of your new pick up location. Should you have a later pick up, just let the driver know of your location on the island.
